Spice Up Your November with these Events Happening in Baltimore!
Don’t be sad as you pack away your Halloween decor, throw away your jack o’lanterns, and finish up the remains of your Halloween candy stash, because November has arrived and it’s time to enjoy all the seasonal festivals that celebrate the changing weather and the days leading up to Thanksgiving.
Get your favorite coat and scarf on, and get ready to attend one of these amazing November events in Baltimore!
Nov. 12-14 – Peabody Heights Ninth Anniversary Party
Make time to celebrate Peabody Heights’s ninth birthday! The brewery came to 30th street in 2012, and is now celebrating nine years of brewing their own beers. The event includes three days of food pop-ups, craft vendors, and of course, unforgettable beer.
Nov. 13 – Patterson Park BrewFest
Check out the Friends of Patterson Parks’ fourth annual Patterson Park BrewFest! The event features live music on the main stage, delicious food trucks, and a line-up of your favorite local breweries.
Nov. 14 – Baltimore Vintage Expo
Head over to Hampden to revamp your fall wardrobe at Milk & Ice Vintage’s fifth annual Baltimore Vintage Expo! At the event, over 40 vendors from the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas will be coming together to sell men’s and women’s vintage clothing, antiques, collectibles, and more!
Nov. 14 – Boards and Beverages
Who wouldn’t love a relaxing Sunday afternoon sipping a drink and building a cheese board? Yes, you can learn how to build your own charcuterie board at Boards and Beverages, an event hosted by the locally-owned charcuterie company Boards in a Box from 12-2 p.m. in Canton!
Join Sagamore Spirit for a night of overlooking the waterfront and eating and drinking like a king. At this event, you’ll celebrate peak oyster season by tasting the best seafood pairings that Sagamore Spirit and local catering company, Superior Catering, has to offer. It will take place in Riverside in the Rye Street Tavern space, right next to Sagamore Spirit’s distillery.
Union Craft Brewing, The Local Oyster, and True Chesapeake are banding together to put on this year’s OyFest! Spend the afternoon in Hampden at this event shucking oysters, sipping beer, listening to music by June Star and Friends, and witnessing (or participating in) the Baltimore Oyster Eating Contest. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from your entry ticket will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank.
Nov. 20 – Make Your Own Mixers
Looking for a way to enjoy your Saturday? Sagamore Spirit is hosting another event this month that you won’t want to miss! Come together with Sagamore spirit and the Cane Collective team for a make your own mixers class! Learn about the history of fresh mixer ingredients, and follow along in a demonstration about the tools and processes to make the most high quality mixers. Following the lesson, you’ll enjoy a whiskey and mixer tasting, and you’ll take home your own handcrafted mixer bottle!
As the month wraps up, prep for the holiday season at Sagamore Spirit’s distillery in Riverside for a wreath making class. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring additional supplies to personalize your wreath. The class wouldn’t be complete, however, without a guided whiskey tasting, snacks, and a complimentary cocktail.
