Poke is having a real moment right now, with restaurants featuring this Hawaiian diced raw fish salad opening all across the country. One of Baltimore’s newest places is PokeOno, a fast-casual restaurant with a surfer-chic vibe that opened in December. 

All bowls are made to order. Choose from a menu of combinations or build your own bowl featuring ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp or tofu. The protein is combined with either white or brown rice or mixed greens, then doused in sauce and toppings like edamame, wasabi peas or shredded nori. A highlight of the menu is the spicy tuna bowl, which includes ahi tuna, spicy aioli, crispy onion and chili water. If you dine in, you can enhance the Hawaiian aesthetic by gazing at surfer movies that are projected onto the wall and sipping coconut water.
