If you’ve ever agonized over the decision to either indulge in a bowl of ice cream or a glass of wine, then you’ll appreciate how profound the invention of Winecream was. As you can probably guess from its name, Winecream combines artisan ice cream and fruity wines into one over-the-top dessert for adults.

The family-owned Crossroad Company crafts Winecream at a factory and tasting room in Baltimore, and its staff offers two tours of the facility (at noon and 2 p.m.) every Saturday. Sign up for a tour online ($15) and head to the loft-like space to watch the process of Winecream-making from start to finish. At the end of the tour, you’ll get to taste flavors like peach cobbler or strawberry-peach, depending on the time of year and the ingredients available.
