The chefs who own Schola teach cooking classes year-round, but this time of year, the sessions get festive. Schola's chefs will host a special Gingerbread House Decorating class for the young and the young-at-heart on Monday, December 18th from 6 to 9 p.m.

Class kicks off with the instructor demonstrating the basics of actually crafting gingerbread, then you'll get the chance to create some of your own gingerbread accessories. Then everyone receives a roof and four walls to transform into the gingerbread house of their dreams — with the guidance of the instructor whenever you need it. Schola will supply the icing, candy, and other accents, all you have to do is buy a ticket and show up ready to get artsy. Tickets are $55 per gingerbread house, not per person, so a pair can purchase a single ticket and work together.
