If you couldn't make it to the beach this summer, don't worry, there's still time – and thanks to Sandlot Baltimore, you won't even have to leave the city for your mini vacation. Sandlot Baltimore exists on a stretch of sandy shoreline along the Patapsco River, an entirely outdoor eatery and rec yard. It debuted about two months ago and will continue to welcome Baltimoreans as long as temperatures remain summery.

With the masterminds from Woodberry Kitchen behind the menu, you can expect casual, inventive American eats. Dig into a basket of fries with Old Bay seasoning and cheese or garlic and herbs on top, or try the corn dog in a cup with spicy Red Eye dip. You can also order loaded nachos, meat-laden kebabs, or a sandwich like the L7 Weenie—inspired by the eatery's namesake movie, The Sandlot. Grab a beer from the bar and enjoy it in a hammock or sip it on the "beach" while you play a game of corn hole with friends.
