If you enjoy good liquor, then you’ll love visiting Sagamore Spirit. This Baltimore distillery is known for its award-winning rye, and, as of seven weeks ago, you can stop by its East Cromwell Street facilities to see how it gets made.

Tours are available each day from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Your $15 ticket will take you through not only the whole process of making whiskey, but will also illuminate the city’s presence in whiskey history. The friendly staff is more than willing to answer any of your questions as they show you the giant tanks, pipes, and barrels that allow this spirit to be made on a major level. Perhaps best of all, at the end of the tour, you’ll get to sip a few samples of whiskey and even receive a sweet treat at the end. You’ll also get the chance to purchase a bottle of your own to bring home and ensure the memories of your trip will last a long time.
