Happiness comes in the form of dessert at Sweet Side Café in Baltimore. Inside, this dessert café is bright and cheery, with boldly colored walls in neon orange, pink, blue, and green. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside on the patio, which also makes it the perfect spot for a post-dinner treat.

The ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato, and custard at Sweet Side is all self-serve, so you can mix and match flavors and toppings to your liking. There's also a whole wall of dry toppings and a fridge full of fresh toppings. The café also has baked goods ranging from beignets and cannolis to chocolate eclairs and cupcakes. If you need something with a little more sustenance, Sweet Side has a variety of bagels, sandwiches and soups for breakfast and lunch.

Sweet Side Café is open Tuesday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sweet Side Café is closed on Mondays.
