Pitango Bakery offers a lot more than your typical bakery. Of course, you'll find plenty of breads, muffins, and pastries at this Baltimore shop, but you'll also find everything from sandwiches to gelato, too.

Swing by in the morning for a cinnamon bun and foamy cappuccino to start your day off right, or join the lunch crowd and chow down on something from the popular build-your-own sandwich counter. Consider starting with a traditional ciabatta roll as a base and adding layers of provolone and salami. Later in the day you might even consider bring your own bottle of beer or wine to enjoy with your meal. Be sure to save room for dessert, too, as this place serves up the locally-famous Pitango gelato. Whatever you choose, regulars say you'll enjoy eating it in the bakery’s dining room, which features an eclectic mix of old-fashioned and ultra-modern design elements.
